CONCEPT

Our designer spoke with the artist to develop a plan for the 48 page book. The artist had submitted over 30 paintings that needed to be showcased in a format which fine art collectors would appreciate.

SCANNING

Artwork was submitted in several formats, including digital images and transparencies. The original slides of the paintings were scanned on our flatbed scanner.

COVER DESIGN
The cover for this book was developed first. The artist submitted several images for selection as the cover image. Selection of typeface and style were made according to our Impressionist Artbook Style.

INTERIOR LAYOUT
The interior book layout was created according to our Impressionist Artbook Style. The layout was approved by the client after receiving both digital and printer proofs.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
The artist selected a dustjacket for his hardcover books. A gloss varnish was also applied over the reproductions of his art in the interior pages.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY

The books were printed and bound overseas. The books were produced and shipped on a container under the management of our production department. They were delivered directly to the customer upon arrival.
